The flame tetra, also known as the red tetra or Rio tetra, is a small freshwater fish of the characin family Characidae.

Clea helena or assassin snail is a species of freshwater snail with an operculum, an aquatic gastropod mollusk in the family Buccinidae, the true whelks, most of which are marine.

Pelvicachromis taeniatus is a species of cichlid from Cameroon and Nigeria that is occasionally kept as an aquarium fish. It is native to the soft-water rivers.

Pelvicachromis pulcher is a freshwater fish of the cichlid family, endemic to Nigeria and Cameroon.
